A Pause for Peace

I haven’t posted on my blog since October 7th. That day will have a lot of meaning and significance for a lot of people around the world, but not in a good way. A lot has happened and if any good came with it I would say it opened the eyes of so many people about the truth. I know I’m speaking in riddles but my blog is not a political blog. It is a mom blog, I want to connect with all moms around the world and help myself and hopefully others, navigate our journey that is motherhood without losing ourselves, or finding ourselves if we are already lost.

But my pause the past five weeks was also for motherhood, it was for lost childhoods, it was for humanity. I’d like to think there is at least a little humanity left in this world. Although the events since October 7th gave me doubts.

I don’t know what to say, I know no words will bring back the dead, heal the injured or rebuild the demolished. I will always stand with peace and condemn the killing of innocent people. My words may not have an impact on world peace but I feel responsible as a human to speak up.

I will continue to post starting next week, but I have not and will in no way forget all the innocent who have died, been injured or displaced because of war. I will continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers and pray for world peace.
